Small Groups / Bible Studies

  • Two adult groups meet on Sunday at 10:15 after service.
  • Women's Bible Study is the first and third Wednesday at 10:00 am in the conference room.
  • Pastor Bill's Bible Study is each Wednesday at noon. This Bible study is in-person or on Zoom. Contact the office to join the online meeting. This Bible study expands the scriptures to be used on the following Sunday.

Noah's Ark

  • State Licensed Daycare for children birth through Kindergarten Age.
  • Also providing after school and summer day care.

Alliance of Churches Food Pantry

  • The Alliance of Churches' food pantry for the community is housed and run through Central Community UMC. The churches in Shell Knob support this ministry through food and monetary donations.
  • The pantry is open from 9:00-Noon and 1:00- 3:30 Monday thru Wednesday.
  •  Appointments are appreciated. Families can access the pantry once a month if necessary.

USDA fOODS


U.S.D.A. Foods are provided by Central Community United Methodist Church. Volunteers from our church, the community, and Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch work together to provide food items for the people of the community.

Thrifty Closet

  • The Thrifty Closet is an outreach ministry of CCUMC.  
  • It is located in the Bridgeway Plaza.
  • It provides reasonably priced clothing, accessories and small household items.
  • The store is run by volunteers from throughout the community.
  • Profits from the Thrifty Closet are used to provide assistance to individuals and organizations in need.
  • Store hours are Monday- Friday 9-4:00 and Saturday 9-1:00.

The Central Crossing Senior Center is a strong part of our community.  We work together to share resources.

Harvest Community Garden

The Harvest Community Garden provides fresh fruit and vegetables to various individuals and local organizations.

They are gearing up for next season. Beds are available to plant and harvest your garden spot. Or just join in the community site and help others.
